Richard formed RUA LLP in Norwich during 2011, previously working at Davis Langdon / AECOM for twenty two years.
His primary aim when forming the company, was to build a sustainable and long term business founded upon strong Client and Designer relationships. Since its formation Richard has steered RUA LLP to become one of the leading construction consultancies in East Anglia.
The recent introduction of our Colchester Office and our now well established Cambridge Offices has helped strengthen the RUA LLP brand and allowed a greater geographical reach towards the South, South East, the Home Counties and the Midlands.
Richard is pleased to lead such a fantastic team of over 40 construction professionals all of whom contribute daily to the success of the practice.
Dan joined RUA LLP in 2012, previously working at Davis Langdon / AECOM for twelve years.
Dan leads the Residential and Infrastructure Team's across our offices for the practice providing specialist knowledge and expertise in this sector. His residential experience extends from both private and affordable projects to extra care facilities, but has also delivered both planned and responsive maintenance programmes.
Dan works very closely with some of the UK’s most prominent house builders, as well as one off housing development clients. His specialist infrastructure knowledge helps unlock schemes and with early engagement works with his clients to help shape projects from the outset.
His relationship with land owners, clients and development partners ensures Dan is seen as the person to go to for all things Residential and Infrastructure related.
Jonathan joined Richard Utting Associates LLP as a Partner in 2016, with an impressive background, having served at Davis Langdon / AECOM for two decades, where he held the position of Director, Head of Norwich Office and Operations Director for the East. Jonathan brings a wealth of experience and leadership to our team.
As a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), Jonathan has demonstrated his commitment to excellence and professionalism in the field. Leading our Commercial Team across all offices, his expertise spans a wide range of sectors, including Masterplanning, Education, Offices, Science & Research, Residential, Hotels, Leisure, Industrial, and Retail. His comprehensive skill set covers both pre and post contract Cost Management Services, as well as Employer’s Agent and Project Management duties. His unique sector wide skillset will benefit all stages of the construction process, whether at feasibility or post completion.
One of Jonathan's notable strengths lies in his ability to leverage a strong network of industry contacts, locally and nationally, enhancing the collaborative potential of our projects. His involvement in various associations, such as serving as the Regional Awards Head Judge for RICS East of England, Member of the Norwich Forum for the Construction Industry, and Chair/Trustee of the Norfolk Construction Charitable Trust, reflects his dedication to advancing the industry and giving back to the community. Jonathan's multifaceted contributions extend beyond his core practice responsibilities, as evidenced by his roles as a Trustee/Committee Member of Norfolk ProHelp, a Member of Construction East, and participation in the New Anglia LEP Building Growth Committee and Interact Group.
His dynamic leadership, wealth of experience and active involvement in industry associations make Jonathan an asset to our firm, contributing to our continued success and growth.
